FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Melbourne, FL: Universal Air Service, Inc. was utilized again to provide aerial support for the 2022 Melbourne Independence Day celebrations. The largest July 4th event on the Space Coast, Universal Air Service kicked off the festivities by proudly flying a 5,000 square foot American flag beneath their Sikorsky S-76 over the Melbourne causeway and across the waterway between Downtown Melbourne and the beachside communities.
Universal then landed on the base of the causeway to pick up members of the Air Sports Parachute Team, a highly experienced skydiving team that conducts exhibitions at sporting events, major holidays, corporate events, political rallies to name a few. Universal’s CEO and chief pilot, Walter Garner explained “Being an integral part of July 4th celebrations is always a proud moment for Universal and our entire flight crew performed perfectly to effectively display the American flag and allow the skydiving team to put on an amazing show. We have worked with ASPT many times and will undoubtedly have a wonderful working relationship for many years to come. Working with professionals, from planning to execution, to put on a show for the tens of thousands of our local residents who come out every year to celebrate our nation’s holiday is always a thrill.”
